The goal is to support the European energy industry and other industries in their transformation and achievement of decarbonization goals. This partnership bundles KBC's solution expertise for customer IT issues with Intertrust's innovative technologies for secure data interoperability along the entire digitization value chain (including sensors/hardware, databases, data center/cloud to artificial intelligence). To ensure that our electricity supply remains secure and affordable in the future, the energy transition must be accompanied by digitization of renewables, grid infrastructure, energy storage systems, electromobility and other segments. This is the only way to implement the urgently needed and efficient control of electricity production on the one hand and demand flexibility via controllable loads on the other. In the future, energy companies will have to coordinate and cooperate via suitable data platforms. Data will be exchanged or shared with external ecosystem partners. This data will then be used by AI applications to ensure efficient automation.
