Business Challenge
Hospitals require a high level of process and data security. In a joint project between the IT managers at KH Spittal/Drau and K-Businesscom, the need for structural changes (also in the Network and Information System Security Act NISG) was identified. It was decided to switch from a reactive to a proactive security strategy with external on-site support in special IT stress situations.
Solution
With the Cyber Defense Center (CDC), K-Businesscom has its own powerful competence center for cyber security. An early warning system for IT security was established for the Spittal/Drau Hospital: a comprehensive roll-out of endpoint protection on 600 clients by the hospital IT department with an SCCM infrastructure established by K-Businesscom. It is a comprehensive endpoint detection & response solution for continuous proactive monitoring and higher visibility in the IT infrastructure thanks to log data analysis and permanent evaluation.
