Who is
Condeli?

Condeli is an Austrian manufacturer of lasagne and convenience products and part of the Hochreiter Group. The family business has developed into a successful partner for the food trade and industry.

CANCOM Austria emerged from K-Businesscom (formerly Kapsch BusinessCom) at the beginning of 2024. The following case study was written before that and therefore the text was left in the original version.

Business Challenge

Planning production and delivery in the food industry is a daily challenge. The aim was to automate Condeli's production and delivery planning.

Solution

For the practical implementation, the project participants agreed to use the KBC "Smart Planning Toolkit". This KBC automation software fits seamlessly into Condeli's existing IT landscape and will support production and delivery planning with artificial intelligence in the future.

Technology

Tool developed in-house by KBC, with integrated AI implemented in the production process. Including mapping of the data in the dashboard - also possible on Microsoft Azure.

Thanks to faster processes, the automation software makes it possible to achieve the same goal with less power, raw materials and tools. Energy costs, CO2 emissions and the use of resources can thus be optimized.

The elaborate and complex planning process took a lot of time. It was very difficult to map and, above all, collate the data in Excel. KBC's planning tool as a "digital planning colleague" helps us to speed up this process and, above all, to subject it to quality assurance through transparency in the use of the data. The agile approach and close cooperation in the project with our planning managers and KBC enabled us to create a tool that is tailored and optimized to our process.
