Questions about the application process

How do I apply to CANCOM Austria?

Please apply directly online via our application portal. Here you can create a personal profile and attach all documents for your application.

  1. Please fill in all fields. Fields marked with an * (asterisk) are mandatory and must be filled in before you can proceed with your application.
  2. Now you can add a photo, certificates and other important documents as a PDF file.
  3. Send the application! You will immediately receive a confirmation of receipt by e-mail.
  4. Please give us some time to process your application.

Can I apply for several vacancies at the same time?

Of course you can! We are happy if we can arouse the interest of our applicants for different areas. We are also happy to receive unsolicited applications including details of your professional expectations.

What documents should I use to apply?

Convince us with a convincing letter of motivation, a detailed and clear CV, certificates and references, information on further training and project or diploma theses! The more comprehensive the information we receive from you, the better we can classify and process your application.

How does the selection process work and how long will it take before I hear back?

The recruiting team will check your application and consult the specialist department if necessary. Please be patient! We will try to get back to you within two weeks.
Depending on the position, an application questionnaire, a task or an assessment center may be used in the selection process. In this case, the process will take a little longer, but we will always keep you up to date.

How does an interview take place and what is the procedure?

If your application is convincing, you will receive an invitation to an interview in which employees from the specialist department will take part. Colleagues from the recruiting team may also take part in the interviews. The interview usually lasts about an hour. Please allow sufficient time! The purpose of the interview is to find out more about you as a person and your knowledge/skills. We would also like to give you an insight into the world of CANCOM Austria.

I am currently living abroad. Can I also have an interview online?

Yes, initial interviews are also possible by telephone or via MS Teams.

Will my application be treated confidentially?

Of course. We will not contact anyone outside CANCOM Austria without your consent. Even within the company, your application will only be forwarded for the purpose of checking possible employment opportunities.

We attach great importance to confidentiality and data protection in our application processes, which is why the data you submit will be treated in strict confidence.
You have the option to revoke this consent to the data protection declaration at any time.
Please note: By revoking your consent, you also automatically withdraw your application to CANCOM Austria.

By submitting your application and agreeing to the privacy policy, you consent to the data you submit being stored and processed as part of the application process. This applies to all data transmitted, including the documents sent along. Storage in the applicant database and processing is carried out by CANCOM Austria itself as well as the respective group companies of the CANCOM Group (if you have applied to a specific company).
The applicant platform is operated by CANCOM Austria AG. In the course of this, CANCOM Austria AG uses eRecruiter GmbH as a processor for IT services, which may therefore also have access to the applicants' data in order to be able to provide the IT services.
